Love it! You have great skill my friend, great job and merry Christmas!

sorohanro responds:

Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too.

Very cool song! I really like it, the guitar works pretty well IMHO lolol

MAAAAAN I particularly LOVE that funky synth entering around the 1 min mark (what is it???), reminds me a bit of a band called Capsule, not sure if thats what you guys were aiming for but never the less kudos! The track itself is super clean and expertly mixed and produced, well done!

Adding to faves :)

5Dollar responds:

thanks im glad you like it we are going be working on a ep soon after this since it went so well. That sound at 1 min mark is a mix of a cheek snap (like when you flick you cheek to get a pop) then I edited it and added a small synth from nexus.

I definitely remember this one from way back in the day! Great vocal work my friend and awesome melodies! Would you be up to singing and collaborating soon? I'm also an FL user, lets make an epic collabO!!! lololol

But srsly... think about it ;)

Psybot responds:

That would be awesome to collab with you! I havent made a collab with anyone except b0unc3, like 14 years ago xD

Great work my man! Love the progression and synths you use for the melody, I was expecting a big drop after that but it works great as is as well, lets collab some day!

Cheers!

Stroberider responds:

Thanks brothaman! I really need to finish it, as it's been over five years since I last worked on this track. It's still a WIP. :-P I definitely planned on making this a bigger more dramatic track just need the motivation and time to dedicate towards it. Thanks for the great score and review, Johnny!

Same as Chron below, this track never gets old! Loved it back in the day and still loving it now!

Hope you keep making music my friend :)

Psybot responds:

I am really surprised that this piece is what draws your nostalgia. Haha! When I listen to this now I'm like, "was I serious??" Haha.
And the funniest part is, I think I was :3
I laughed like hell when that last part jumped into my ears and wrecked havoc on my mind! I guess I gave it a proper name, haha!

Thanks for checking up on me. Hopefully I will get some time to spend in front of my beloved FL studio soon :)))

Hey friend! XD

Maaan! I'm totally loving the vocal array on this one! I gotta learn how to mix lyrics like that in my tracks.

Overall this was a pretty fun variation to the original Ghostbusters theme.

LOL SOULCRUSHERS FTW!!!! :D

Looking forward to listening to more of your work.

Cheers!

Psychopath responds:

Thanks man!

Very peaceful!

I'm digging this tune so much man! You really have a nice flow of melodies going on in there, I specially like the 1 2 3 notes on the left hand it gives the piece a nice flow, I'd just wish there was more of it!

A complex baseline usually gives your tracks a fuller feel but in this case I'm digging it just the way it is because you transmit the sentiment perfectly. Man the ending was really nice with those triplets, I just think it would be a lot better if it just echoed away into eternity, if you know what I mean ;)

Definitely gotta check out the other version.

Keep up the good work!

Peace

Johnny~

Everratic responds:

I can't actually play the piano and I don't listen to piano solos often, so I used my experience from making melodies in electronic music in order to compose this song. I know that the left hand usually plays the chordal notes so I'm assuming that's what you're referring to when you say "1,2,3 notes". Maybe part b would have sounded better with 123 notes, but I wrote part b first and I didn't think of it at the time.

" I just think it would be a lot better if it just echoed away into eternity, if you know what I mean ;)"
yeah, I've heard that technique being used in the past. I didn't think of it before, but I do want to try it.

Thank you for the review!

Yeah!!

I absolutely love this one!!!

Man, this brings me baaack! Great cover! Lol I'm loving that weird "bird-ish" like sound at 00:44 kind of reminded me of another movie, but can't seem to remember its name... Also that bubbly bass instrument is sick! What is that??

Anyways, this was a total joy to listen too! Specially this days that Force Awakens is so close to being released >:)

CAN'T WAIT!

Hope you have a great holiday my friend! Cheers!!!

Johnny~

sorohanro responds:

Thanks for the very nice review.
The arrangement I made for 3 trumpets, 1 trombone, bass guitar and tambourine. The weird "bird-ish" sound is a trumpet wit a wah-wah mute playing "frullato"(or flutter-tonguing, when you say "rrrrr" while you play). The bubbly bass is a normal bass guitar (ok, it's a fretless) with an auto-wah/ auto-filter blended with me hitting with the palm on the trombone mouthpiece.

Awesome!!! :D

Loving the 8-bit style all-around! You got some pretty amazing riffs there, congratulations on the excellent composition skillz!

You truly deserve to get your work out there and be recognized! I would love to play an adventure videogame to this track, particularly an extremely riveting boss battle! :)

Keep up the great work!

Cheers!

tripledigit responds:

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Great track man! Sounds like you got inspired by the works of Daniel Kandi, I really like it, its very hopeful.

Just about everything in the mix sounds in its right place to me, so no complaints over here, just enjoying the listen B]

Keep on bringing the music!

Johnny~

TerraNation responds:

Yea Daniel Kandi is big inspiration for me check out my other track its sort of abit same call slider but prolly even better idon't know :)

At a base level everything is a form of oscillation between two fundamental states
