Hello again Awake!

I see you are trying Ambient this time around, what a coinsidence lol!

I must say Im in love with this piece, you really catched that nice calm flying on clouds feeling, everythings flows perfectly, the guitar was a great addition to the song I loved it, and the piano that comes after the hit at 00:55 is sweeeet!

I must admit the breakbeat part was a lil bit off the point in this song, but I still enjoyed it and that wasnt the reason I gave you a 9, the reason was the length!!! Its killing the whole thing for me, come on!!! You must extend this song, it sounds unfinished and its just to short to chill out to it.

I think you should definitely take advantage of the the breaks you added and extend that part a couple bars more instead of cutting it off that quickly.

Well you know what to do, GET CREATIVE! And dont be lazy to finish it, I know its tough, I have experieced it myself, but you're not getting anywhere with a half/finished song.

I see a lot of potencial in this track, keep it up and good luck!

Johnny~

Thanks.. more inspiration to finish things :)

HARD TRANCE! One of my favs fo shure!!! :D

I simple love this genre, is really fun to listen to songs like this ones in a while to get out of the progressive/anthem trance style most of us are used too.

I like the way you used the vocals for the first part of the song, it gives it a lot of power and epicness, though I must admit I was expecting something A LOT more powerful coming after the 00:15-00:31 break. That thin lil high saw just doesn't do it for me, I really felt a lot of emptiness on that bit, I think its because of the lack of mid frequencies , I think you could compensate that by either adding a pad (sidechained or gated if you prefer) or by pushing the mid frequencies of that super saw arp you added.

I really enjoyed the breaks part, though as my good friend below said, that high pitched pluck sound really hurts, so I would recommend you to lower the high freqs on that one, just a tiny bit, that will do just fine ; )

I was hoping to see some kind of change for the second chorus right after the breakbeats but you just repeated everything again, I was hoping that perhaps you could add a new and more powerful synth to play a different melody there, obviously on a lower octave to compensate the lack of mid freqs.

For the end you simply repeated the melody on the breaks and faded it away, so, there was really no merit for it...

But not everything is bad lol!

I like the way you mixed (mastered?) your song the kick gives it A WHOLE BUNCH of energy and the percussion overall was very well executed! I think those breaks are some of the most original Ive ever heard and the toms transition was simply delicious! :)

I believe this would be a great song for an action video game or movie, it simply has a lot of energy but the tiny flaws such as the high pitched plucks and the thin lil saw bring the whole feeling down...

Please dont take this review score as an 8, but as an 18! lol Thats because on the noobies scale I would definitely give you a 10 but since I see that you're not a noobie Im giving you an 8 on the profecional scale ;)

So you got the 10 of the noobs scale plus the 8 on the pros scale! WOOT! ;D

Good job my friend! Keep the sick ass beats coming!

Thank ya sir, appreciate it! :)

being considered on a professional level is purty nice :D

Great job!

Fantastic quality! Great choice of sounds and a very creative remix!

In response to what the fellows below me said, I think the original is a lot more repetitive than this one, I actually like this one better, I think it has a lot more versatillity and variety of sound than the original. (Btw nice sidechaining at 00:56 ;D).

Impressive work my good Sr.

I take my hat off!

ZooSafari responds:

Thank you very much Johnny ^^

I really appreciate all the compliments ;)

Italo Dance FTW!!!

Boy! Long time not listening the good ol' Benassi style bieng executed so well!

What instantly catched my attention about this song was the awesome bassline you made and how you mixed it with the beat, then the voices! ZomG! Where did you find those?

I like the funky synths you used through out the entire thing, but perhaps you didnt took your time to mix those, cause around 1:50 the kick is barely audible, you should really fix that imo, also try pushing up the voices volume, cause its way to low for me to hear them and finally the lengh, try making it longer, 2:40 min its to short for me to enjoy this amazing quallity song ( ;

Nevertheless, well done! If you find some time, try making it longer, but if not, its a still a very good entry ( =

Good luck!

zomgkerrie responds:

well this is the 2nd song i have made with FL so i am still learning to mix and really improve with my songwriting.

thanks so much for the great review! that was so nice! i actually found a text-to-speech thing on the internet, found one with an italian accent, changed my settings to record via my soundcard, typed in what i wanted it to say, and made the sample myself. it was way fun and i was happy with how the voices turned out.

i was nervous about trying to make a piece inspired by such a famous artist like Benassi, so i'm glad that i did it some justice.

perhaps after teh contest i could try making an extended mix or even mixing it better!
thanks for the listen and review!

Nice!!!

Reminded me of a Jackie Chan's movie I saw last week, the song is simply lovely, the dynamics are fantastic, it almost sounds like it was played by a real orchestra!

Something I must admit is that I really didnt like is the intro, the bass drum sound you picked from the FL Studio default hits has way too much reverb and makes the song sound a lil weird.....hmmm you uses it again DX lol

Another flaw I noticed was the ending, it was a lil bit weak for my taste and out of time...nevertheless, the flute is lovely, but you really need to fix that transition from the strings to the flute.

Without counting the two things above mentioned, I really enjoyed this song! Its simply fantastisc, I take my hat off :D

Btw, I see you are a lot into Classical, could you please review my latest classical song "Mad Mafia", I would really appreciate and I would return the favor of course ; )

Phyrnna responds:

Yay! Success, I got that "real orchestra" feel even with bad samples! :D

And hahahaa, I'm glad you recognized the drums. I personally put that reverb on it... maybe it was too much? I like it though. ^_^

The ending is a little "weak." But it was like that because I didn't want to overshoot the 3:50 time limit on the songs. Otherwise I would've had a better ending in store.

Thanks for the compliments! :D

So sick!!!

Good job! I love your manipulation on the Amen, its like Glorious! lol

I see what you are trying to show ppl with this, but I think you should add some more variaty instead of just the amen break, like you did at 1:44, to make the song less boring for the common users.

But besides that, everything was really amazing!

Nicely done bro!

Keep it up.

aeop responds:

Thanks!

Good job!

Dang! I would really love to make a track out of this, but apparently the song isnt finished yet? Anyway, I really want to do this, I dont care about the genre, you can choose it if you want and I would let you upload the song to your account of course ; )

I just need you to sing the song clearly (by that I mean, no whispered words or hard to understand) and complete it if you haven't already.

Let me know if you feel interested!

Liralei responds:

I probably won't be completing this anytime soon. If I do, it'll be heavily acoustic with maybe a bit of classical instrumentation-- if I produce it myself instead of contributing it to a producer. I appreciate the interest, though! :)

Amazing job!

Excellent work my friend! Its hard to believe someone can make such a good quality track with so few resources (specially with a software like FL Studio haha), I personally love the original and this definitely made justice to it! My only complain would be the length, but I wont affect your score because of that, I still would like a little bit more, it kinda ended a bit to quickly for my taste...

Anyway the only reason this track caught my attention was first of all the name haha but specially the sweet bass you made, it was simply flawless, very bumpy and dancy, I started moving as soon as you dropped it hahaha!

I'll keep an eye on you sr.

If you have some time check out some of my trance too! (like "Out Of Fantasy", "Believe Again", "Superheroes" and the likes haha).

Keep it real!

Kazmo responds:

I personally LOVE Fruity Loops, one of the best programs ever created.

Stare at me plzzz...xD

Thanks for the review!!! I'll check your stuff out.

Great sound!

Impressive sound my friend! I cant find any flaws on the song, if the guitars were really live recorded then my RESPECT man! Very neat sound! The tribal drums added a great feeling to the song too!

Overall is a very nice chill out track man!

Good Job

Btw If you got some time check out my latest submittion "Victory Dance"

Soundshifter responds:

thanks very much :)

I just love this!

Good old rave always puts me in the good mood. Im really tired to write long reviews atm, but I just wanted to tell you how I feel about this song, its definitely going to be on the top of my favorite songs list for a long time!

Ahhh this just made want to make another rave track like Stadium Wave (listen to it if you have the chance ;)).

Thanks for the inspiration man!

JohnnyFrizz

Gloudas responds:

Woo, glad to hear you liked it! And that it inspired you, always nice to know. And thanks for the flattering revizzle
Soooo, since I haven't heard stadium wave, I'm gonna go do that now :D
