Only dubstep track I'm reviewing...
In fact... only dubstep tracked I've ever liked XD
This is a very original approach to dubstep (or at least one I've never heard b4), it starts out with a very chill dream trance feel, then it turns into something really epic, the harmonies on this track are very well crafted, the side chain effect feels different, it feels new and refreshing although its been used to death and it just adds up the that epic "keep on going no matter what" feel. The little arp rolling on top is quite nice too and compliments the song pretty well.
I'm kinda surprised by the lack of bass in this track specially for a dubstep track, it could be my headphones though... i gotta give it another listen when I get home to rock my sound system! :D
I'm not even gonna get into the mixing since we all know its perfect, but i do feel interested like one of the guys below me on how you process your toms, you really know how to make them stand out and sound awesome.
Anyway this is very inspirational track, it makes me wanna go and learn some more about dubstep, maybe listen to some dubstep tracks like this one, is there a sub-genre already for this kind of tracks?
Keep it up dude! Hope you get signed soon (if you havent already).
Greets!
Johnny~
